Our Story

Twenty Years of Muddy Boots and Wagging Tails

Pawmarsh began with one rescue Labrador and a farmhouse garden. Two decades later we are still small on purpose: a handful of litters a year, every puppy raised in our living room, every parent health-tested and known by name.

We breed for temperament first — calm, brave family dogs — and we stay in touch for the whole of each dog's life. If your circumstances ever change, a Pawmarsh dog always has a home to come back to.

Meet the Puppies
Why Pawmarsh

Bred Like Family, Because They Are

Three promises we make to every puppy, and every family, before a single mating is ever planned.

1

Health Tested Parents

Hip, elbow, eye and DNA screening on every sire and dam, with certificates you can read before you commit.

2

Raised Underfoot

No kennel blocks. Puppies grow up around children, visitors and household noise from day three.

3

Matched, Not Sold

We learn your routine and energy, then suggest the pup whose character fits — even if it is not the one you first picked.

4

Lifetime Backup

Training help at 3am, holiday boarding, and a forever-take-back promise. Our dogs never end up in rescue.

A Visit Feels Like This

Come and See How They Live

Every serious enquiry ends with a visit: tea in the garden, puppies on your lap, both parents to meet, and every question answered honestly — including the awkward ones.

  • Meet mum, and dad where he lives with us, before you pay a penny.
  • Read full vet records, vaccination cards and microchip paperwork.
  • Take home food, a scented blanket and a week-by-week settling plan.

Questions Families Ask Us

How much are your puppies?

It depends on the breed and the litter, and we quote openly before you visit. Every price includes vaccinations, microchip, health checks, registration papers and four weeks of insurance.

Can we meet the parents?

Always — mum at minimum, and dad whenever he lives with us. If a breeder will not introduce you to mum, walk away, from us or anyone.

What if it doesn't work out?

Every contract includes a lifetime take-back promise. Whatever happens, whenever it happens, your dog can always come home to Pawmarsh.

Do you help after pickup day?

Yes — a settling plan, weekly check-ins for the first month, training evenings, and a message line answered by the same people who raised your pup.
