Breeding

Small Litters, Bred for Character

We breed two or three litters a year — few enough that every puppy is whelped in our bedroom, weighed daily by hand, and known as an individual before its eyes open. Health testing comes first, temperament second, and looks a distant third.

  • Hip, elbow, eye and breed-specific DNA screening on all parents.
  • Early neurological stimulation and sound socialisation from day three.
  • No bitch bred before two years old, or more than three litters in her life.

What Responsible Breeding Looks Like

If every breeder did these five things, rescue kennels would be half empty. We hold ourselves to all of them.

1

Tested Parents

Documented scores and DNA results shared before mating, not after birth.

2

Home Whelping

Puppies born and raised in the house, handled many times every single day.

3

Limited Littlers

Few litters, rested mothers, retirement plans for every breeding dog.

4

Honest Matching

The boldest pup does not go to the quietest home. Character fit decides.

The First Eight Weeks

From Whelping Box to Your Arms

Weeks one to three are warmth, milk and gentle handling. Weeks three to six bring sounds, surfaces, visitors and the first tastes of real food. By weeks six to eight, puppies are meeting children, learning crate naps and starting tiny training games.

You can follow along: waiting families get weekly photo updates and two visits before pickup day, so your puppy already knows your smell.

Honest Answers

Which breeds do you work with?

Samoyeds, Siberian Huskies, Golden Retrievers, Beagles and German Shepherds — the five breeds on our available page. We would rather know five breeds deeply than twenty superficially.

Can we see health certificates?

Before you place a deposit. Hip and elbow scores, eye certificates and DNA panels for both parents are part of every puppy pack, and we explain what each result means.

Do you breed for specific colours or sizes?

No. We never select for fad colours, teacup sizes or extremes that compromise health. Temperament and sound structure decide every mating.
